Most recently a marketing strategist and researcher at Trellist Marketing | Technology, Laurie Gelb was previously Regional Director, Market Research & Planning at WellPoint, Inc., where she integrated survey research with claims data and medical charts at the plan, physician and patient levels.
As a consultant and client (most recently at Aventis Pharmaceuticals), Laurie pioneered the use of heuristic data collection to elicit and leverage decision drivers across stakeholders. Her publications and presentations generally focus on the triangulation of disease management, CDH, market research and e-health. Her clients have included several top tier health systems and most major biopharmaceutical manufacturers. Laurie spent several years in research administration at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, with additional community hospital and biotech experience. She received her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas.
