Paul has more than 15 years of experience in video production, content marketing, social media and online marketing. As a self-proclaimed, clear-eyed optimist, he believes in the power of the visual Internet to change markets...and change the world.
In the course of his career, he has taken on prominent communications, marketing and production roles as founder, along with his wife, Gretchen, of the wildly popular show, MommyCast, whose prominent tag line is: “Holding the World Together, One Child at a Time.®”
MommyCast has won the “Best Family & Parenting Site,” in 2007 & 2008, and was voted Top Podcast by Apple iTunes in 2008. Paul and MommyCast, in 2010, have launched their new show, MommyCast Latina. Paul is also responsible for the MommyCast representation by The Wm. Morris/Endeavor Agency, working with new media funding organization, Believe Entertainment, and is on the board of directors of International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), and the International Association of Web TV (IAWTV) . He is an expert in online video, new media and web 2.0 strategies, an industry speaker for trade show and panel discussions, and has been quoted in major publications such as BusinessWeek, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, MSNCB, Bloomberg, Crain's Business News, Variety Magazine, Hollywood Reporter and ClickZ.
Paul blogs at numerous sites, and also twitters compulsively. Paul’s background also includes a significant role in the US Federal Government where he was Special Assistant to the Secretary of Treasury, overseeing digital efforts and outreach. While at Treasury, Paul authored several articles on privacy, use of new media by government, and financial services in social networking.
Before the Internet Industry came along, Paul worked with organizations focused on public policy and he holds a Masters in Business Administration, and currently focuses his time on new media production for business and government. Paul speaks frequently at industry events, having spoken as the keynote, New vs. Traditional Media, at 2007-2011 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
